Statement following London Bridge terror attack from Suffolk Constabulary

With the tragic events that took place in London over the weekend, Suffolk Constabulary's Chief Constable has moved to reassure local residents and visitors that although the county remains safe, the approach to policing will be continuously reviewed to help mitigate any potential further threats

Latest guidance on recognising the terrorist threat and remaining vigilant can be accessed via www.nactso.gov.uk To report any suspicious activity or behaviour call 0800 789 321 or in an emergency dial 999.

They were joined by their fellow councillors Lady Caroline Blois, Veronica Falconer, Geoff Holdcroft and Sheena Rawlings to support the Love Your Local Market fortnight, an event celebrating and promoting local markets.

Swifts in Woodbridge – please contribute to our 2017 survey

Join the RSPB Woodbridge Local Group for the third year of our campaign to Save Our Swifts. In 2017 we are looking for swift nest sites either in roofs or nest boxes.  From our surveys in 2015 and 2016 we have gathered information from Woodbridge and 10 of the surrounding villages. We have recorded 25 houses with nesting swifts totalling 55 nests.
