Masahiro Yamaguchi and William Bass are generously donating all proceeds to the Friends of St Mary’s Church Woodbridge

A former student at the Royal Academy of Music, multi prize-winning pianist Masahiro has performed throughout Europe and Japan, including recitals at St Martin-in-the-Fields and St James’s Piccadilly, and at many festivals including the Bath International Festival. He has also broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and BBC Proms Plus. His numerous prizes include the Mozart Prize and the Italia Piano Concors Gold Prize. He met Will at the Dartington International Music School in 2015.

Will was principal cellist with the London Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, and gained his PG Dip from the Birmingham Conservatoire. As a soloist, he has played to critical acclaim in concertos by Vivaldi, Haydn and Dvorak, and as a chamber music player in performances of sonatas by Schubert, Brahms and Frank. For the last ten years, he has also taught cello at King’s School, Rochester and Royal Russell School, Croydon and is on the panel of Surrey Arts.
