Enjoy our town's beautiful river, discover its maritime heritage and explore the events and attractions along half a mile of waterfront from the Tide Mill to the Tea Hut.....and it's free!

See inside the new Whisstocks Riverside Centre, with stalls, boats and boatbuilding displays and Sae Wylfing. 

Enjoy the spectacle of traditional craft moored along the quaysides - Thames barge Melissa, as well as bawleys, smacks and other boats. Visit the Saxon camp for historic battles, archery and a taste of life in the 7th century. 

Music from shanty bands, Rabble Chorus, Martlesham Brass, Aartwork and more, plus talks in the Community Hall on our maritime history. 

Get afloat - take a boat trip on the river, paddle a coracle on the coracle pond or chat to local boating organisations. 

Visit the Tide Mill's 'Moon over the Water' ewxhibition and see the milling on Sunday - free entry to the Tide Mill during the event. 

Plus food, drink, bouncy castle, demonstrations and more.
