Update - Network Rail level crossing closures

Suffolk Highways - Upcoming works - B1438 Ipswich Road, Woodbridge - 8 December 2022

2 December 2022

For your information, Suffolk Highways are planning to carry out road resurfacing and drainage improvements along B1438 Ipswich Road, Woodbridge (from Cherry Tree Road to Station Road). The works are programmed to take place overnight between 8 and 10 December 2022. The road will be closed between 7pm and 6am to ensure that we can carry out our works safely.

For your information, Suffolk Highways are planning to carry out drainage surveys along B1438 Ipswich Road, Martlesham (from A12 to Old Barrack Road). The works are programmed to take place between 8 and 9 December 2022. The road will be closed between 9pm and 6am to ensure that we can carry out our works safely.

Potter Community Cup Winner 2022

The Potter Community Cup is awarded to a Person or Organisation who has made an outstanding contribution to the life, or name of the town during the preceding twelve months. Councillor Patrick Gillard, the Town Mayor presented Brenda Jackson with the Cup at Town Council last night further to her nomination following her work at the New Horizons Club:

Remembrance Day Parade and Services in Woodbridge 2022

15 November 2022

Five local Woodbridge schools attended a Children's Service on Market Hill for Armistice Day, they laid their crosses to the names of local fallen soldiers.  They followed by a gathering and talk with soldiers from 23 Parachute Engineers Regiment and Royal British Legion members.
