The town's people of Woodbridge welcomed the Freedom Parade Friday 10th June on a fabulous sunny day, where crowds gathered to watch the 23 Parachute Engineer Regiment, 70 Gurkhas Squadron, Royal British Legion and the Royal Navy Faslane Scotland marching from Burkitt Road down Threatre Street to Market Hill on towards New Street, St John's and through the Thoroughfare and back up Church Street to Market Hill before ending with a Drumhead Service.

The parade begins at St Mary's Church of England School, via Burkitt Road at 10am, through the town and back to Market Hill.
