Falkland War Commemorated 40 Years in Woodbridge

The Falklands Conflict started on 2 April 1982 and was the first military action since the Second World War that utilised all elements of the Armed Forces.

The conflict lasted 74 days, during which seven ships were lost to enemy action, nine aircraft were shot down, and 255 British personnel lost their lives. 

On Saturday 11th June at the Cenotaph in Woodbridge on the 40th Anniversary of the Falklands War, the Royal British Legion of Woodbridge and other members of the local Armed Forces conducted a Parade and Service remembering all those impacted by the conflict of the war.
