East Suffolk Council are currently consulting on their 'Walking and Cycling Strategy', the introduction to which states:
The East Suffolk Cycling and Walking Strategy identifies potential cycling and walking infrastructure opportunities across the district. The Strategy focusses on the identification of new infrastructure opportunities rather than the maintenance of existing infrastructure. It provides context and information to support detailed infrastructure proposals and inform decision making to support cycling, walking, and equestrian use.

The consultation focuses on three broad areas, the A14 corridor to Felixstowe, Lowestoft and the broads, and the A12 corridor including Kesgrave, Woodbridge and Melton. Woodbridge Town Council have therefore taken great interest in this consultation, with Councillors from the Amenities, Climate and Ecological Emergency, Highways and Planning Committees forming into a working-party to consider our response.
Their final report was submitted to the Planning Committee on January 4th, and our full response can be viewed by clicking here
