Summer wildlife sessions
Published 4 June 2025
The Woodbridge Town Council Climate and Ecological Emergency Committee has been providing funding for the last four years to facilitate the Suffolk Wildlife Trust to run 'Summer Wildlife Sessions' in Woodbridge.
These popular events introduce people of all ages to nature in and around the Town Council estate and the wider environs of Woodbridge.
The 2025 events were launched in late May with the Fen Meadow 'Bio blitz' - the most popular activity on the day was bug hunting where using sweep nets in the lovely long grass, many unusual insects were found.

These are followed with events in June, July and August focussing on guidance how to create a pond or water feature - these are free sessions with more information provided on the links below to the SWT website.
