Woodbridge and Mussidan – Do we want to revive the twinning arrangements?

Woodbridge Town Councillor Nigel Phipps, on his recent trip to France, arranged a meeting with the Deputy Maire of Mussidan (Deputy Mayor) to explore informally the future of the twinning arrangements between Mussidan and Woodbridge. These plans have been dormant for a long time!

Councillor Phipps stated the Maire in Mussidan (Town Mayor) was very keen to renew the link between our towns and mentioned that even outside the Mairie (Town Hall) they have a red phone box and Royal Mail post box plus models of Big Ben and Tower Bridge.

Moving forward if we are to revive twinning arrangements with Mussidan, and indeed other European countries, we will need a small group of Woodbridge residents to step forward and help the Town Council drive the initiative.
