The Climate and Ecological Emergency Committee are tasked to incur expenditure on promoting, publicising and supporting measures designed to reduce the Town’s carbon footprint and encourage the diversification of fauna and flora on the Council's estate, and anything deemed relevant to the Committee, within the agreed budget (£10,000) during the Civic Year.

The agenda will be uploaded three clear working days before the meeting (usually the Friday before a Wednesday meeting). The minutes of a meeting will be uploaded in draft once they are approved by the Chair of the Committee. A final version will be uploaded once the draft minutes are approved at the next meeting of the Committee.
